Federation EIL - the worldwide network of the Experiment in International Living - is a nonprofit membership association which facilitates and promotes the work of its autonomous member organizations in 20 countries. Federation EIL members promote intercultural learning experiences through homestays, group travel, study abroad, language training, work exchange and other cultural immersion programs.
NEW! 2009 summer program in Argentina
Announcing a special program this summer: from August 26 to September 16, join a multi-national group project in Salta Argentina to improve the lives of residents who have literacy and nutrition problems due to their isolated location and lack of economic resources. The project is entering phase 3 - the construction of a community greenhouse. Be a part of this exciting group!
Volunteers for International Partnership

Federation EIL has completed its first international research effort, "Exploring and Assessing Intercultural Competence", a project designed to evaluate the impact of intercultural experiences provided through service projects.
