Group travel options

Select one of the many educational group travel programs offered by Federation EIL members. Specific programs vary from country to country but in most cases, they begin with a cross-cultural orientation by your trained group leader. By developing our understanding of and respect for people in other lands, we become more aware of how we all fit into the global community. The group leaders and local representatives offer support throughout the program. Examples of group travel programs through Federation EIL include:

Homestay, community service and language training in Argentina
Skiing in the Chilean mountains plus a homestay
Spanish language classes plus homestay in Quito, Ecuador
Community service plus family stay in Germany
Homestay plus study of African music and dance in Ghana
Bike touring in the British countryside
Horse riding and a homestay in Ireland
Homestay and tour of Rome, Florence, and Venice, Italy
Tokyo city-stay plus homestay and tour of another part of Japan
Community service project plus homestay in Canada
Travel, sightseeing, plus English language in New Zealand
Youth leadership training programs in Poland
Cultural orientation to Madrid, Spain plus homestay
Two-week program discovering the Turkish coastline plus Istanbul

Federation partners can custom design a program for your group. Some programs are tailor made for high school students traveling abroad during vacation breaks, offering homestays plus travel adventures. Some Federation partners run programs in partnership with Elderhostel for adults ages 55 and over. Some groups include participants from more than one country and some programs visit more than one destination.
