Tomorrow's leaders are studying abroad today. Secondary school and university students can enroll in semester or year abroad programs. Participants can pursue academic courses, language training, and have a homestay with a local family.
These programs provide a complete cultural and educational experience as students participate both in school and with their host families in social and cultural events.
Applicants must meet certain standards of proficiency in the language of the host country and will be tested to find the appropriate academic grade for coursework.
Academic study abroad programs offered by our member organizations include:
UN Peace Messenger Organization: In 1989 The Experiment in International Living was designated as a Peace Messenger Organization by the Secretary General of the United Nations, Javier Perez de Cuellar

Federation EIL is a member of WYSETC: The World Youth Student and Educational Travel Confederation
