Amboni Caves

On our drive to Tanga we stopped at these big beautiful caves called Amboni Caves, that take us back to the jurassic era. In the caves they told us about two soldiers who hid in the caves during the 1940’s. One was Kenyan and the other was Tanzanian who were both fighting from British colonialism. They showed us where they slept and had us turn our flashlights off and it was pitch black. We saw a swarm of brown and fruit bats, spiders the size of our palm, and a series of imagination features such as the Statue of liberty, Virgin Mary, Angel Gabriel, and even a couch!
