The Lisu village Homestay was truly unforgettable. The locals were so welcoming and heartwarming. From teaching my host mom, brother, little sister and little brother card games to the spectacular hike we got to experience I’ve never had so much fun in just 3 days. My host mom cooked such delicious meals. I can’t wait to cook them when I get home. The last night was the best night! We got to learn the traditional dances of the Lisu people. Plus we got to dress up in traditional clothing. I’ll never forget this amazing community. I plan on coming back when I’m in college to visit my host family!
